RUBI was built by James Villarrubia, an operator who has spent a career close to how businesses actually run, and break. RUBI exists for one reason: to give owner-led companies the operating system that lets them run, and sell, without depending on any one person.

The story
Why I built this.
I have always loved business. Not the buzzwords, the real thing: how a company makes money, where it is strong, where it is quietly fragile, and what it would take to make it better. I love solving an owner’s problem, and I love the moment when a plan clicks and someone sees their business bigger than they did an hour before.
And I kept seeing the same thing. Good businesses, built by good people, that could not survive their founder being out for two weeks. Everything that mattered lived in one head. The company was successful and fragile at the same time, and the owner was too busy running it to fix it.
That is the problem RUBI solves. Not with a lecture, and not with a template pack. With a real operating system that gets the knowledge out of your head, onto the page, and tested, so the business can stand on its own.
